Short story

Hello, I'm André Bergonse, and currently work @ I studied arts in high school and always had an obsession with computers, photography and music. I graduated in Advertising & Marketing. That's the short story. So for now this site is no more than my humble way of sharing my own view of things through the lens of a camera as well as writing about the stuff I keep learning every day about more geeky stuff like web development, linux, servers , etc.

As far as equipment goes, I currently own a Canon Powershot G5 but I don't use it anymore. I used to borrow a Nikon D70 from a friend now. Now I use a Nikon D90 with a Nikkor 18-200mm F3.5-6.5 G VR and a Tokina 11-16mm F2.8. On the software side, I'm nobody without Photoshop (but I avoid producing disasters like these). Just as in a traditional lab, I also do some post processing on my pictures - mostly levels adjustments and some sharpening (aside from HDR of course). I recently found that the workflow for digital lab processing is far easier using Adobe Lightroom. I hope you enjoy your stay and come back!

This site

This was made using the wonderful PixelPost script and the theme TheWorldIn35mm which I modified to suit my needs and also a bunch of plugins.

If you have any feedback feel free to drop me a note. If you're a photographer yourself and I like your work I'll be glad to link to you.
